The Pillars of Creation is a magnetic nail polish where ghostly gray magnetic pigment shifts to reveal a blackened base glowing with red-to-gold shifting shimmer. Inspired by the iconic Pillars of Creation, this shade captures pale dust columns rising against a fiery, light-filled backdrop.

Dramatic and high-contrast in velvet, but most true to the inspiration in the cat eye effect. Full coverage in 2-3 coats.

Polishes should be stored in a cool and dark area. Shake well before use.

James Webb Space Telescopes’s MIRI image of the Pillars of Creation reveals a stellar nursery where layers of gas and dust obscure thousands of newly-formed stars and protostars. This image is dominated by cold, dense clouds of gas and dust, one of the major ingredients in star formation.
When the clouds of dust in the dense blue-gray pillars reaches a sufficiently high mass, they collapse under the pressure of their own gravity. These regions slowly heat up, forming something that looks more like a star, until they become dense enough and hot enough to ignite nuclear fusion – the energy source that powers the stars.
